EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Model Details Mini-Me’s Verbal Abuse And Threats

The woman at the center of Verne Troyer’s restraining order has revealed how the Austin Powers star verbally abused her, branding her a hooker and slut because she turned down his advances.

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, stunning model Yvette Monet has lifted the lid on how she feared for her life after refusing to be his girlfriend.

Troyer – best known as ‘Mini Me’ – became friends with the former beauty queen in February 2009 after she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career.

But after socializing with the 2ft 8 star for just three months she claims he turned on her launching into angry tirades and threats on her life.

“He wanted me to pose in a magazine with him and pretend to be his girlfriend,” said Monet who was granted the restraining order two months ago. “But when I turned him down he turned on me.

“Around the same time he asked me to be his girlfriend, I said I wanted to get to know him as a friend and nothing more. He continued to tell people otherwise, introducing me as his girlfriend and him as my boyfriend.”

And she says when she continued to insist on a platonic relationship he became more and more enraged.
“I met him at an event and we started hanging out from time to time. But pretty soon I realized he wasn’t the person I thought he was. I kept saying, ‘I don’t want to do the magazine shoot’. But he wouldn’t listen.

“It was verbal abuse. He would scream at me. He got especially angry when I didn’t want to pose in the publication. He said I was embarrassed by him and that’s why I wouldn’t pose.

“He and his friend, Jose, who works for the magazine in question and is also a cop, threatened and bullied me constantly.”

When she finally walked away from him and asked him not to contact her, she said he became more obsessed.

“I hadn’t even known him long. He was like a crazy fan of mine. It was insane. I thought I had met a good friend but he turned out to be an absolute nightmare. All he cares about is his own publicity. I thought he wanted to be my friend. I was new in town and had just moved here from Minnesota so I was happy to meet new people. But I didn’t sign up for this."

“When I found out he was an alcoholic and just wanted to look after his own publicity I felt really sad. He had his own agenda.”

Soft-spoken Monet, admits she did not want to get the restraining order but felt she had no other option but to turn to the police.

“He would text me at least ten times a day. Then he would call repeatedly and email me too. I told him if you don’t stop emailing, texting or calling I will get the police involved. He didn’t listen.

“The messages were horrible. I feared for my family and my life. He was sending Jose his cop friend over here and he would stand outside and yell ‘come outside.’ He would demand to see me saying. ‘You had better watch your back.’

“It’s been so scary. I was living in fear. He told me his friends had guns and they would do anything he wanted them to. He told me they would come and threaten me with a gun."

“His exact words were, ‘you better watch your back hooker.’ He called me bitch, slut, whore. Any name you could think of he called me."

“I couldn’t believe anyone could speak to another human being like this. Let alone someone I thought was a friend.  I was raised to have respect for everyone. I would never talk to anyone like that."

“I’m not the kind of person who wants this sort of attention. But I had no choice to take this action. He was threatening me and so were his friends."

“I just want him to stay away and leave me alone. This is not fair that I have had to live like this. Sometimes I feel I want to go back to Minnesota because of this. Its scared me beyond belief.”

When asked about the fact that Troyer’s spokesperson has denied the allegations she said:

“Of course he is going to say it isn’t true. I didn’t want this to happen. But I take this seriously. When someone is threatening your life you have to take a stand. I want to do this for other girls who he could be doing the same to."

“Verne and Jose could be doing this to anyone else. Just because you are famous, doesn’t give you the right to behave in this way.”

“Its just so disappointing to me. He wasn’t the person I thought he was. Its sad there are people like him out there.”

Monet admits despite the restraining order, Troyer has attempted to get in contact to apologize.  “But I just want him to never contact me again,” she said. “I just want to live my life.”

A court hearing is set for December 2nd 2009.

The report states that after Jaycee admitted to knowing Garrido’s past as a sex offender, she added "that Garrido was a changed man and a great person who was good with her kids."  During that August 26 conversation with parole officers, Jaycee originally called herself Alyssa and maintained that the reason for her lack of communication with officers was due to her fear of an abusive husband she had left behind in Minnesota five years prior. She did say the two girls with her were her daughters but did not admit that Garrido was their father until several more rounds of interviews which resulted in his confession of kidnapping and raping Jaycee.

After Garrido’s confession: "Alyssa identified herself as Jaycee Dugard and confirmed that she had been kidnapped and raped by Garrido."

The report also chronicles the numerous failures of Garrido’s parole agents who, over a ten year period, ignored suspicious signs like utility wires running from Garrido’s house to the backyard compound he hid the girls in and ignored the presence of a twelve-year old girl during a home visit. There were other lapses in supervision such as not talking to neighbors or using GPS information.

The affidavit reveals many of the terms of the Gosselins’ contract with the network and details numerous breaches by Jon. The court file also reveals that CBS has admitted to TLC Jon was paid to appear recently on two of their programs – also a violation of his contract.

As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively, Jon will be questioned under oath when TLC’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Jon is heard on December 14.

In h is affidavit Sabin also says that Jon refused to cooperate with TLC’s filming schedule and that on the day the network decided to change the show, Jon’s lawyer demanded release from the exclusivity provision of the contract but still wanted to be paid.

“Mr. Heller informed TLC’s representative that if this release was not forthcoming within an hour, Mr. Gosselin would object in public fashion to any further filming of his children.”

The preliminary injunction sought by TLC would prevent Jon from violating the exclusivity, non-endorsement, confidentiality, and publicity provisions of his contract with TLC.

Brown said that he enjoys attending his court ordered domestic violence classes and he is able to learn about anger and how to control it. He said the classes teach him to think before doing something.

Howard Weitzman, one of the attorneys for John Branca and John McClain the Special Administrators for Michael Jackson's Estate in response to Joe Jackson's request for an allowance stated, "The Special Administrators have been made aware that Joe Jackson filed papers asking to be paid a family allowance from the Estate.  It was quite surprising to learn of the request.  Mr. Jackson's petition will be considered as are all requests for money from Michael's Estate."
