Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton showed up to support their photog friend Mark Liddell, who debuted his new book Exposed: 10 Years in Hollywood at a private home in Los Angeles. While host Jessica Alba charmed on the red carpet in a cleverly crafted black and white number, Paris Hilton's floral frock failed to impress.

What does it take to get a famed photographer to make a book these days? Apparently Jessica Alba and Barack Obama. That’s how fashion and celeb snapper Mark Liddell got the fever to publish his ten-year Hollywood retrospect Exposed.
“Jessica Alba rang me a year ago to do the Declare Yourself campaign to get kids to vote. That made me, as an Englishman, aware of American politics, which I was blissfully unaware of.”
Alba then turned him on to a then-fledgling politician Obama, whose platform was change.
“[From there], I actually wanted to do something with a purpose.”
Exposed was born, culminating countless star photographs from the likes of John Travolta, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie, Beyonce and Matthew McConaughey.
Liddell began shooting for houses like Versace and Fendi, and upon moving to Los Angeles (on the recommendation of Nicole Kidman), started playing with the lines between stars and style.

For the tenth year in a row, supermodel Heidi Klum traded in her haute couture for an elaborate costume, hosting the decade-marker of star studded Halloween bashes in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Sponsored by MSN and Skyy vodkas, the crowd whooped it up to old school hip hop and dance hits while the hostess and her longtime love Seal, both dressed as fine and feathered crows, greeted their guests including Paris Hilton.

Jason Wu, who rocketed to style stardom when Michelle Obama danced the Inaugural night away in his stunning, one-shoulder, floor-length chiffon gown, has firmly established himself as a go-to designer for Hollywood starlets and fashionistas.
It was no surprise that several of his loyal leading ladies showed up to Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, to preview the 27-year olds' Spring 2010 Collection.

After the preview, Neiman Marcus, Vogue, and actress Dianne Kruger, hosted an exclusive dinner party for the prodigious designer at West Hollywood hotspot Palihouse.
Wu got his start as a designer at the age of 16, when he was hired as a freelance doll clothing designer for Integrity Toys He later went on to intern with Narciso Rodriguez, before launching his ready-to-wear collection in 2006. After winning the Fashion Group International's Rising Star award, he began attracted a chic and fabulous following, which includes the First Lady, Amber Valletta, Jessica Alba, and Leighton Meester.
